FSA Family Night
On Wednesday, February 17th, we will hold our annual Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) Family Night for 6th Graders. Parents will learn all about the new test format and how to best prepare students for success.
You will receive two volunteer service hours for attending. Sign-in sheets will be available during the last session of the night.

Online Re-Enrollment Required
Beginning January 20th, 2016 through March 20th, 2016, the Pembroke Pines Charter School (PPCS) System will be re-enrolling students and filling open seats through a lottery for the 2016-2017 school year.
All currently enrolled students in the PPCS system are required to re-enroll for the 2016-2017 school year. You must do this online - please click here.
Alert! Traffic Pattern Change
The City of Pembroke Pines Police Dept. will begin enforcing traffic patterns effective immediately.
Please observe all traffic regulations when entering/exiting our campus.
Be vigilant when exiting the school as traffic has increased on Pembroke Road.

Broward County Science Fair

Spelling Bee Competition
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Winner Stanley Pierre (left). The competition was terrific, with students going to 21 rounds to determine the winner today.
Rishad Alam (right) finished in second place, followed by Jessica Chang in third.
Stanley moves on to the Broward County Scripps Spelling Bee in March.
On January 23rd, Mr. Vasquez's Robotics Teams competed in their first Vex IQ Robotics Competition. We are proud to announce that both teams made it to the finals. The Steel Jags placed 5th in the finals and the Tech Titans placed 9th! These students worked hard and competed with a passion that needs to be celebrated! They cannot wait to compete again!

We are very proud to announce that Eighth Grader Lauren Fadel (French Horn) was selected for the Florida 7th & 8th Grade All State Honor Band representing the Pembroke Pines Charter Middle School West Campus. Mrs. Dayna Cole, Band Director at the West Campus, was selected Conductor of the 2016 All State Middle School Honor Band.
PPCMS is very proud to announce that we are now a Cambridge International Secondary 1 School. This is an engaging, accelerated, academic experience for highly motivated learners aged 11-14. It is an internationally-renowned program that prepares students to think critically, communicate clearly and establish well-reasoned arguments. Students will increase their comprehension of global issues with multiple perspectives. Fostering a love of art and humanities is enmeshed in the Curriculum, which includes museum visits and guest speakers.
